Travelling on Public Transport with a Bike
National Rail have a free resource tool, PlusBike, with all the information you need to plan a seamless journey when you take the train and you plan to cycle along the way. You can access information on facilities at the station including cycle parking spaces, cycle hire scheme and information about taking your bike on a train.
You can find information on travelling by Metro with a bike on the Nexus website. There are no restrictions on taking folding bikes on Metro services provided they are fully folded, but non folding bikes can only be taken on certain routes at certain times. Find out more by following the link below.
